As excitement builds for another festive holiday season, the Rowan College of South Jersey (RCSJ) 坎伯兰 campus bands will continue their role in helping to uplift the community’s vibrations with their annual holiday campus concert. This merry program, which is free to the public, begins at 2 p.m. 12月. 2 at the Guaracini Performing 艺术 Center. 

This year’s holiday concert includes a repertoire of seasonal favorites which will be performed by the College’s Jazz Band and Wind Symphony. 

“The Rowan College of South Jersey–坎伯兰 campus bands are approaching their 41st performance season,” 说 Joseph Akinskas, 兼职教授, 音乐教育. “The holiday season concerts are always the highlight of every performance year.”

Concertgoers will feel a warm sense of nostalgia while listening to unforgettable holiday tunes such as “Feliz Navidad,“圣诞宝贝”,” “Mr. Grinch,” and “White Christmas,” performed by Jazz Band instrumentalists and vocalists. The Wind Symphony will wow the audience with their musicianship as they play favorites like “C’est Noel,” “A Mariah Carey Christmas,” and the perennial holiday favorite “A Christmas Festival,” by Leroy Anderson. 

The College’s Jazz Band and Wind Symphony will, 再一次, be taking their merry musical show on the road during the holiday season. “We appreciate the opportunity to participate in the annual Olde Fashioned Christmas on the Ave in Vineland to kick off the holiday season,“Akinskas, founding director of the RCSJ–坎伯兰 campus bands, 说.
